Thunderstorm take on Moel Famau

Beechwood Thunderstorm are an U11’s          netball team from the Runcorn area.
 We have decided to take on Moel Famau as a team to raise funds for new, warm coats,          ready for winter and also at the same time,    help their 2 chosen charities.

These are
1) Spirit of the herd pony sanctuary
Spirit of the Herd is a not-for-profit horse and pony sanctuary with a difference, based near Helsby, Cheshire. Rescued horses and ponies are rehabilitated, and then used to help children, young people and adults with learning needs, lacking in confidence, or suffering from stress or anxiety. 

2) Alan Scott foundation

 Alan scott was sadly miss diagnosed with T CELL NON-HODKINSON LYMPHOMA in 2015 which devastingly resulted in alans death on the 12th march 2018. Alan put up the biggest fight on ward 2a in whiston hospital, were the doctors and nursing staff were truly amazing and really went above on beyond for Alan.

the foundation was set up by Alan’s wife to help other patients of ward 2a at Whiston hospital and also to raise awareness of T CELL NON-HODKINSONS LYMPOHMA,
