Thunder Bots compete at First Lego League Worlds

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Chrissy and I am fundraising for my South Jersey Robotics team the Thunder Bots. This team has worked hard since September building and programming a Lego robot, developing a project that solves a real world problem related to energy, and embracing the core values of Lego such as gracious professionalism and coopertition. In January, the team competed in a local qualifying tournament where they won the Robot Performance Award and Project Award. Yesterday, they competed in the regional competition where they won the Champion Award. Now, they have have the honor of earning a spot at the FIRST Lego League World competition in Houston in April. In order to do so, we need support with the cost of taking our nine players to Houston along with all of our competition materials. This includes travel costs, hotels, and meals. Since they are grades four to eight, they will need family members and coaches to attend as well. If you choose to support this team, you will be providing an opportunity of a lifetime for these amazing kiddos to compete alongside teams for all over the US and the world.
