Throw a Stylist a Bone

Not many of you know what I have been going through the past 9 months and I think it’s time for me to talk a little about it.

I had a running injury in 2017 where I broke a bone in my foot and unfortunately the tendons surrounding the bone caused it to not heal correctly. This resulted in the loss of blood circulation and the depletion of bone marrow causing Osteonecrosis.

I have tried many different types of procedures, none covered by insurance, to stimulate bone growth and blood circulation to prevent surgery but nothing has worked.

I am going to have this bone surgically removed in September and I will be out of work for almost a month and in a boot for two months.  It could take up to a year before I can comfortably walk on hard surfaces barefooted. I will never be able to wear high heels again and I will have limited exercise abilities. 

Since I am a commission based stylist I won’t be able to take clients, therefore I will not have an income during my recovery time. Any controbusion will help relieve the pressure off of my husband, being our sole provider during this time.
