Through the Storms

When my thoughts quiet and I can hear my inner voice,  I hear music.  I've always had a song inside my heart that I was singing to myself or someone else. Eventually I started recording these songs for other people. For many years I've made music independently as the industry of music flipped on its ends.  The value of music shifted from a purchase economy where we spent $20 to hold on to an album, to interact with the art and the emotions. Now we stream a song here or there, and the artist makes about $0.003 (fraction of a cent). For me that has meant that I continue to make & release my music, while I work multiple freelance jobs here in New York.  Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the freelance work that used to sustain me (and many other artists) has vanished. So  I've launched this crowd-funder to help raise funds to finish the mixing album (with the help of a co-mixer) as well as to complete work on the accompanying podcast & web series. The project will tackle important life issues - mental health, self care, love, loss, grieving, healing, overcoming obstacles and finding hope again .   The album is almost done! It's called "Through the Storms". It's a rock & soul album with 14 standard tracks, and 2 bonus tracks. I've written and produced the album and it's straight from my heart.  There are some wonderful duets with some amazingly talented artists I'm grateful to call friends - Ari Gold, Jeneen Terrana, Coby Koehl, Vincent DiGeronimo and Paula Cole.  This music will give you hope, help you heal, lift and inspire you to get through your own personal storms. There are songs about my own personal struggles , the loss of my mother, grieving, prioritizing and understanding mental health, and finding hope.

- Fund at $250+ and I'll shoot headshots for you (NYC & Tri-State area only)

- Fund at $400+ and I'll perform three songs for you concert for you over Zoom or FaceTime

- Fund at $500+ and I'll write or cover (and record) a song for you  

The money will be used to finish recording, mixing  and mastering the album,  as well as distribution and completion  of  the "Through The Storms" podcast and web series, which is already in production.
