Thrive Beyond was created to support children in our community who simply need someone in their corner. The idea for this organization came from years of coaching youth sports, mentoring kids, and seeing firsthand how many young people are silently carrying trauma, instability, abuse, neglect, anxiety, and difficult home situations while still trying to navigate everyday life. So many kids are struggling, yet many feel like nobody truly sees or understands what they are going through. Our mission is simple: provide local youth with mentorship, social-emotional learning, life skills, positive role models, and a safe environment where they can grow, heal, build confidence, and realize their potential. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed regardless of the circumstances they were born into or currently facing. Thrive Beyond is currently preparing to launch its first 8-week pilot program in Lima, Ohio beginning in September 2026. Funds raised will directly support program development, supplies, educational materials, mentor screening and background checks, facility expenses, events, and creating meaningful opportunities for the children we serve. This organization is being built from the ground up by people who genuinely care about this community and want to make a lasting impact on the next generation.
