Hi, I'm Shauns wife Carrie. We have always been the type of people to help others such as the homeless (feed them holiday meals,bring them clothes,blankets ect. and help families around the holidays and much more.
Unfortunately we need some help.
April 2014 my husband woke up to no voice. Doctors thought it could be a cold or allergies. After many different prescriptions nothing was helping. In August 2014 we went sent to an ENT. He looked up Shauns nose and down the throat with a scope and found a mass. They told us it was 95% certain cancer. September 2014 he had a biopsy,doctors couldn't remove it all due to location (above his Larynx between vocal cords & voice box) results came back negative.
Here we are 2016 and went in again to a different ENT Feb.26th,2016.Shaun went for a CT SCAN in May and We found out that his mass in his throat has grown to a T4 which is cancer, it has now spread into his tissue and above his adams apple. It has also spread into his right lung.
At the time of this post May 20th 2016..he has to go for a biopsy Monday May 23rd then a PET SCAN the 26th..unfortunately this is terminal. All we can hope for now is maybe something they can give/do to slow it down for him to spend more time with us.
This is a very hard difficult emotional time for us..Shaun and I would love to take our family to Florida for a week. We have never been there .
We ask for support during this time NO SYMPATHY
As many of you know Shaun is a Freelance photo journalist/Photographer. All medicial bills will be taken care of but we are concerned about the normal everyday bills. And the needs of our children. This has been an extremely stressful
We ask that any donation that you can give big or small is forever greatly apperciated.
