Three Strands Recovery Wear

My name is Leah Wyrick and I am currently a student at Wake Forest University and the founder of the Resilience Bra by Three Strands Recovery Wear. When I was 15 years old, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy, as well as reconstructive surgery. Dr. Samuel Roy, a certified plastic surgeon in Salisbury, NC, was her physician.  When he was sharing information about her condition after the surgery, he also shared with me his frustration with the current mastectomy bras on the market. That is when I went to work and wanted to help many more women just like my mom.  With the expertise of a caring physician and highly skilled surgeon in Dr. Roy, we have custom designed the Resilience Bra to help reduce the number of post surgical complications that women can experience after breast related surgeries.  Three Strands Recovery Wear puts the comfort and healing of our patients first. Our goal is for each patient to have successful post surgical results with a one of a kind fitted and fashionable recovery bra.

I am looking to raise $75,000 dollars to go towards product manufacturing and continued research and development. I hope you will consider donating to our company! Anything helps! If you would like to learn more about Three Strands Recovery Wear and our story check out our website and other links below. Thank you!
