Join me in making a difference for men with early stage prostate cancer in the UK - today!
I'm raising money in aid of Prost8 UK and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me having lost my father to prostate cancer (and which increases my risk of being diagnosed with it too).
What is my challenge:
Well, I plan to climb the three highest mountain peaks in England, Wales and Scotland:
Ben Nevis, the tallest in Scotland at 1345m
Snowdon, the tallest in Wales at 1085m
Scafell Pike, the tallest in England at 978m
a challenge in itself, but I am aiming to climb them all in just 24 hours...
Support me by sponsoring me here on GoFundMe or help us to acquire the equipment needed - list available - and all to be branded with sponsor logos where appropriate...
More information about Prost8 UK:
Prostate cancer treatment is advancing all the time.
Today, there are newer, less invasive treatment options that mean men with early stage prostate cancer can enjoy better lifestyle outcomes
But these are rarely offered as a first choice.
That needs to change, now…
Prost8 UK will make a difference to men with prostate cancer by:
Promoting awareness of the signs and symptoms of prostate cancer and the critical importance of early diagnosis
Campaigning for newer, simpler, less costly and more accurate screening methods to ensure earlier detection
Raising funds to donate focal ablation equipment (such as HIFU and Cryotherapy) to all 22 NHS Cancer Care Alliances across the UK, providing 1000's of men with the chance of a better lifestyle outcome after prostate cancer.
