3 Great Grandchildren Need Their Grandmother!

Julian, Liam and Myla are being raised by their Great Grandparents, this is their story.

My dear friend Karen Harris and her husband Jim have been married for 46 years. Karen and Jim lovingly took custody of their 3 Great-grandchildren, Julian (9), Liam (8) and Myla (7) when the need presented itself. Being with their great-grandmother (each from birth) these kids need and rely on Karen. She manages Myla's juvenile diabetes which requires daily shots, monitoring and doctor visits. She and Jim attend the boy's school sports events and love to take them swimming during the summer. Karen and Jim have given up their retirement together to raise these children. However, Karen's been battling endometrial cancer (since 2018) and now needs expensive treatments that they cannot afford. Your contributions will go toward her cancer treatment.

Recently while I was driving her long distance for her treatments she told me with tears streaming down her face, “I'm not afraid to die, but what's going to happen to them? I need to stay alive for them!” Her deep love and fear for their future is what keeps her fighting to beat the Monster - cancer.
