Our sweet dear friends Mikey Bob & Lisbet have lost their home and all their possessions in the Thomas Fire. Monday evening they had the fire crest at their hill and had to make a run for it with only a few warm clothes because they never thought the fire would get all the way to their lower street. Sadly their house was one of the first to burn to Ventura.
This amazing couple both work for the Oxnard Union High School District as Paraeducators working with students with moderate to severe disabilities. If you know Mikey Bob & Lisbet, you know they are the most loving selfless people you will meet.
The outpouring of love from friends and family has been wonderful but I know we can do more for them. They have lost everything and every little bit helps. Thank you for helping Mikey & Lisbet during this tragic time in our Ventura County.
My name is Liz Brandt from Ventura and I have offered to help set this up for my dear freinds Mikey & Lisbet. We have increased the amount needed to $5000 each since they both have no income coming in; school has been cancelled for the past week and will be closed for
coming weeks. It could be weeks before either of them get a paycheck. They may still need more but every little bit helps.
The generosity and love shared has been so amazing- thank you!! They still don't have much so the sooner we can help them the better. Thank you again for your continued love and support during this difficult time.
