Thomas Beam - Accident Relief Fund

As some of you may have heard by now, our friend Thomas Beam was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday morning.
 His motorcycle went down in a turn but did not involve any other vehicles.  Due to poor cell reception in the area,  "911" service was not available. Luckily he was taken to the hospital by a good samaritan.
Thomas is currently at Sutter Roseville Trauma Center. His condition is being closely monitored and this is what we know so far:
Multiple fractures: Clavicle, Collar Bone, Shoulder
Transverse trauma from his Lumbar 1 - Lumbar 4 
Internal Bleeding from abdoman wall
Possibly ruptured /torn Spleen (surgery has not been ruled out) and Soft tissue damange / Road rash.  In other words " He is a mess, but he is alive" 

In spite of his extreme pain, he seems to be in good spirits but overwhelmed at the same time.  That being said, his injuries are severe enough that he will endure a very long and financially draining recovery process. Insurance claims are slow and If you know anything about Thomas, then you know his friends ARE his extended family and he would move mountains for them.  Unfortunately as fate would have it, Thomas needs his friends to help him move a mountain of his own.  He needs our help and you know he  would do it for you. 

The funds collected here will be used to balance basic living expenses,  pay unforseen medical costs, close insurance gaps and if necessary, hire outside medical assistance .

There will be details forthcoming on  fundraisers being organized on his behalf.
