Thomas Wright's Stroke Recovery

One of our families desperately needs our help and sense of community! Thomas Wright, a PS11 dad suffered a stroke while walking his 9 year old daughter Ava to summer camp on July 25th. Thomas is still hospitalized at Brooklyn Hospital Medical Center recovering in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Thomas is the primary caregiver for both his 9 year old daughter Ava and his 1 year old son Ezra. Thomas is often seen pushing Ezra's stroller around PS 11. Thomas, Ava and Ezra need our help financially to gather the funds necessary to cover their already overwhelming medical expenses, ongoing physical therapy and living expenses.
