Thomas Fire Recuperation Fund

Donation protected
My husband, Aaron Lawson, our 10 year old daughter and I are victims of the Thomas Fire that started Monday 12/04/2017. The fire started just a few miles from our home in Camp Bartlett, Santa Paula. We had to evacuate with very little time to grab what was important. My husband had just spent several weeks building sheds for his hand milled oak slabs. You can imagine how devastated we were to return to our home Wednesday 12/06/2017 to find that his carefully stored wood and tools had been burned to ashes. However, we were one of the lucky ones and our house miraculously survived. The fire burned one wall and cracked the window, but somehow did not burn all the way through. We have no power and no water. I have no idea how much money we actually need to recuperate from this disaster, but I know my husband's wood and tools will be very expensive to replace. Also, on top of everything his truck broke down so some of the money will go to repairs. We would be so grateful for any and all contributions. Another way to support Aaron (former wildland firefighter) is to buy his book, INTO THE BLACK, http://a.co/62RI3DV
