On Tuesday December 5, 2017 a fast moving brush fire (Thomas Fire) that started in Santa Paula quickly reached the City of Ventura. It took a toll on many homes including the Saito's family home. Grandma and Grandpa Saito were the original owners of this house in 1962, where Sara and Justin (brother) grew up.  Soon Sara and Kenji added a new member to the family "Austin".
The Saito's have been a part of the Ventura High School Wrestling Team with Coach Gacha, where both Kenji and Sara spent countless hours helping with all aspects of the team. The Saito Family has always had an open door to their home when "ANY" of the wrestlers or friends were in need of anything. I remember them buying shoes/singlet's/food/lodging for some of the wrestlers that didn't have the funds to buy them or travel to the tournaments.
They are truly an amazing family when it comes to giving and helping others in need. While these donations cannot bring back the many sentimental things that were lost in the fire, it will help soften the blow as they try to get back on their feet. Any amount donated would greatly help the Saito Family.
Thank you very much for your time and support.
