On Thursday, November 29, my dad, Thomas L. Cope, peacefully passed away at our home in Richmond, CA. This past year, he has battled lung cancer and other health complications, ultimately leading to the deterioration of his health. Despite these hardships, he remained resilient, maintained a great sense of humor, and continued to cherish his loved ones. Not enough words can describe his kindness and authenticity.
Additionally, my father was a proud military veteran, an avid musician, a wise teacher, but most of all, a caring man who made sure to provide for his family, friends, and those around him. And although his death was sudden, we are more than thankful for all the insightful lessons he’s taught us and for all the unconditional love he has given us all these years. Thus, we want to give him the best since he made sure to provide us with his best during his lifetime.
Our family is kindly asking for donations during this difficult time, for any financial contribution will help alleviate my father’s funeral expenses, as well as for what's to come in the future.
