<div>Thitimila School was created in 2022 when several villages in the very poor Mzimba region of Malawi came together with the vision of providing their children with an education to allow them to break out of poverty and build a better future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite huge financial sacrifices to themselves, village heads, church leaders and parents raised funds to start building the school but sadly funds quickly ran out and work came to a standstill.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With the help of a small grassroots charity in the UK called ASC Foundation, the construction of Thitimila School was completed and opened its doors to its first pupils on the 4th January 2022.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The school is now thriving with enthusiastic, dedicated teachers and 230 hard-working students with plans to enrol 100 more over the next two years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The donations of school uniforms and sports kits from Winchester House will mean the world to these children who are all extremely grateful and excited to be receiving it. Not only will it meet a practical need, but it will also give them a huge sense of pride, belonging, and self-worth.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The charity are looking to ship approximately 7 barrels of uniform out to Malawi. The barrels cost £200 each but as you can imagine they are extremely limited on funds as they are also desperately looking for help in raising money for Phase 3:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>•	Buy beds and mattresses for the girls who are currently sleeping on the floor
</div>
<div>•	School and classroom equipment (especially Science equipment)
</div>
<div>•	Building a school library and text books
</div>
<div>•	Toilets
</div>
<div>•	Staff housing
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you would like to help and support them in raising these shipping costs or support them in their current fundraising initiatives, any donations would be extremely gratefully received.
