THIS VET HAS CRASHED, BURNED AND NEEDS HELP

Within 3 seconds my life changed forever on the 20th of March at 1205 PM. Normally I don't do lunch but for some reason this day I did. I hop on my Harley and I decide I will head to Taco Bell, its a quick ride about 5 minutes from work. I am in the turning lane and about 60 foot from the light and out of the corner of my eye I see a grey truck start to pass me, my first thought was NO WAY he wouldn't ...guess what YES WAY and he did, he hammered it, passed me then threw on his turn signal and slammed on his brakes because the light was changing. I had about 3 seconds to decide what to do. My options were to go through the back window of his truck, take on oncoming traffic or do what I did, try to wedge my Harley between his truck and the curb, hoping that this was going to cause minimal damage. I ended up having three compound fractures in my right lower leg and destroyed my shoulder the recently had surgery. Now I am the proud owner of 22 screws and 3 plates in my right leg. Due to negligence from the hospital I was in I developed compartment syndrome but it was not detected until it was to late. Now I am in a wheelchair for approximately 3 to 5 months and do not have the ability to fit in a normal vehicle, the backseat has two cars seats. After looking at all options renting a van was the only option that was remotely reasonable. The down side is since I have been out of work since the 20th of last month I have not been paid since the same day. Now it feels as if my world is falling apart brick by brick and my entire family has to deal to financial repercussions. So now we rent a van for $150 a week or $600 per month and have no income from work. Its hard for me to put this out in the public and ask for help but I don't want my family to suffer because of someone else's negligence and lack of driving skills. The funds I am asking for would assist paying for the van and if need be upgrade to a handicap accessible van if my health stays the same or gets worse.
