Fundraiser to help Monika to survive for her 2 kids.
She is Monika, just 35 and a mother of two. She is lucky that she is still alive after the severe hit and run accident. Monika comes from a poor background. She used to work as a Volunteer with our Gift of Sight Projects (free cataract surgery program for poor people). I know her personally and can attest to what a beautiful soul she is - kind, intelligent, and simply one of the world's best Volunteers. She would take care of poor patients like a true mother. And now she can lose her life if not operated.
The worst part is, recently her husband lost the job. Please read the details about the accident and a series of events which has put her in a very heartbreaking situation and the story is truly devastating.

Recently Monika's Husband Sanjay lost his job due to this CORONA pandemic. He was working for Dr Shroff Charity Hospital. On 19th Nov 2020, Monika stepped out of her house in District Bulandshahr, UP India, to look out for a job for herself. She was then hit & run by a Car or Bike (as per the unconfirmed report, investigation going) and was left alone injured and bleeding on the road. Fortunately, some people saw the accident and called the ambulance. She was transferred to a local Hospital. Unfortunately, doctors at the district hospital could not help her and the family was asked to transfer her to AIIMS, Delhi. AIIMS Delhi is India’s premier institute. For 24 hours the family ran from pillar to post to get proper first AID, after 24 hours Doctor forced the family to shift Monika to another premiere hospital, Safdarjang. This hospital too refused to take patient and family kept running to various private hospitals for help, but were refused. It seems many people are suffering and hospitals are overflowing due to Corona. After contacting some influential people, we were able to help her. She was finally admitted to FORTIS Private Hospital in Noida. Fortis is a rich man's hospital and it is way beyond what Monika's family can afford. Somehow proper first aid and initial treatment was started which helped Monika to survive. Her treatment cost is estimated to be more than 6 lakh Indian Rupees, ( Appx 11000 CAD $). Sanjay, her husband is selling all his assets, his bike, and other household stuff and trying to raise 6 lakhs. I have contributed $500 and shall be sending him another $600 from my personal account. With this help and support from his friends and extended family, Sanjay will be able to collect almost C$7000 and will desperately need another $4000.
If I am able to make this fundraiser viral and reach out to 200 people for $20 each and raise 4000 dollars. I will then help Monika survive for her kids. Please donate Just 20 each and then ask two of your friends to donate 20 dollars. If you can't donate $20 then donate $10 and ask 4 of your friends. Together we can make difference in one's life and help 2 kids to get their mother back.
