This Little Mermaid Needs Your Help

Our 4 year old daughter Elektra was diagnosed with a pediatric low grade glioma brain tumor in Oct of 2019. Since then she has been going for chemo once a week and has had numerous hospital stays. She had to be admitted to Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia again this past Monday (04/13) for her extreme weight loss and has now had to have Nasogastric intubation (a feeding tube through the nose) put in. Unfortunately, she got sick twice from the feeding tube so this morning they did an x ray and found an area of her stomach that appeared to have a mass in it. They are doing an endoscopy to attempt to identify the mass. Depending on the findings from the endoscopy, our daughter may have to have surgery to remove anything they find and will require an undetermined hospital stay. I am staying home with Elektra's 3 siblings while my husband is the only family member staying at the hospital with our daughter and he's unable to work so we have no current income and he is ineligible for the FMLA. Any stimulus relief from the government is not forthcoming to us because it was sent to a closed bank account the IRS had on file from 2018 since we didn't file 2019 yet. It's painful and humbling to have to ask for help from family, friends and strangers but our family is in need of financial assistance.  Donations will be used to purchase groceries, essentials, pay bills and rent and also be used to help make Elektras time in the hospital (and when she comes home) more comfortable.  Please pray for Elektra.
