Our sister, friend, and community leader, Kennetha Patterson, is walking through a season that would break many. And yet, she continues to rise, with faith, humility, and an unshakable commitment to serving others.

This is not just a donation request.

This is a call to be the village.

Why We’re Rallying for Kennetha

Kennetha, known by many as “The Homeless CEO”, is the founder of “Innovative JOBS Solutions LLC”, a systems strategist, speaker, and justice-centered changemaker. She builds trust-centered solutions for nonprofits, government, and grassroots organizations. Her work helps move communities from performative action to lasting impact.

Despite her extraordinary contributions, Kennetha has often been unpaid or underpaid, even while advising local government, metro committees, and leading community initiatives. She’s shown up anyway, because her heart is with the people.

She’s currently relying on library internet to stay connected to opportunities. Despite this, she continues to show up for others.

Your support will help her reestablish stable internet at home, so she can fully engage with paid consulting and expand her impact.

Recently, Kennetha was forced to move quickly, and her family now faces urgent financial needs. Her husband is actively interviewing, their vehicle is in desperate need of repair, and her home remains without essential furnishings.

And still, she continues to consult, support, and advise nonprofits and community coalitions in work she continues to do without compensation, because the mission is greater than the money, but the need for support is still real.

She is actively available for paid consulting and speaking, but she needs immediate support to stabilize and sustain her family and her mission.

What Your Gift Helps to Cover

Your gift of any amount helps lift real burdens and restore stability for Kennetha and her family. For example, $25 can help cover gas so she can get to community meetings, speaking engagements, or potential consulting opportunities. A gift of $50 can restock household essentials like toiletries, cleaning supplies, and basic groceries. With $100, you’re helping to keep utilities like water and electricity running. And $250 could go toward a used washer or dryer, something that makes daily life more manageable after an urgent move.

These are just a few of the real, everyday needs your support can help meet. Every dollar gives Kennetha room to breathe, space to heal, and the power to expand her consulting work from a place of strength and stability.

Our Starting Goal: $7,000

This initial goal will help Kennetha cover immediate living expenses, reestablish essential home access (like internet and transportation), and give her the margin to continue doing the heart-centered work she’s known for, without being in constant survival mode.

If we exceed this goal, every additional dollar will be poured into long-term stability and expanding her reach as a consultant, speaker, and systems strategist.

Kennetha has been called upon by housing agencies, school districts, nonprofits, and public coalitions to provide insight, guidance, and leadership, often without compensation. She’s been placed in advisory roles, working groups, and boards where her lived expertise was praised but not always acknowledged through funding or formal title.

Kennetha’s belief is clear and unwavering:

“Housing is health care. The goal is permanent homes to end homelessness.”

This is the truth she lives and leads by, and the system she is helping communities to reimagine and rebuild.
