Shawn is a father of three who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Mantle Cell Lymphoma- a rare, aggressive, and fast-moving cancer that's already spreading through his body. Its reached his leg, and doctors aren't sure if he'll ever walk again.
Before all this, Shawn was a bartender- the kind of guy who made people laugh, remembered your drink, and stayed late to cover shifts even when he was exhausted. He worked hard to take care of his kids
But like many in the service industry, he didn't have health insurance. And when cancer hit, everything changed.
Now, Shawn has:
- Stage 4 cancer
- No insurance
- No income
- No disability approved yet
- And three kids- two of them under 18- watching their dad fight for his life
He's in pain. He's out of work. And he's running out of time and resources.
We're raising funds to help with:
- Critical medical treatment and medications
- Basic living expenses like food, shelter, and transportation
- Mobility equipment or rehab, depending on his outcome
- Support for his kids, who are facing the unthinkable alongside him
Shawn is trying to fight this with everything he has- but he shouldn't have to do it alone, and he definitely shouldn't have to do it while worrying about how he'll feed his children or afford the next doctor's visit.
