THIS IS LOVE; A feature film in the making.

We have successfully produced our three-part short series, This Is Love, and are planning to get it to the big screen.

 

Synopsis; This love story is the epitome of true love. It highlights the commonalities and differences between the African and the African-American. It's the kind of love that is unconditional, non-traditional, forgiving, and understanding. It showcases our ability to grow in the right direction. It showcases our need to be loved, to be understood, to be one, but most importantly, the importance of having love for self.

 

 

Egypt and Abby come together at a pivotal moment in their lives. Egypt is striving to overcome childhood trauma that lingers after his father killed his mother and then himself. Abby is overcoming an eating disorder. But before she can accomplish that feet, she must make peace with the woman she is rather than the woman society says she should become. Each of their identities are evolving. As they evolve they are individually and collectively challenged by their cultural differences and insecurities.

 

 

Our goal is to make a film that reintroduces old-fashioned love to the world. We want this love story to encourage people to fight for their marriage and let go of toxicity. This project underlines one of the essential qualities needed for any union to survive; communication.
