Taking a life changing Hike!

I’m going on a hike. 

My name is Ford Mirowski, I am going to hike the Colorado trail in June 2021.  The hike will be a solo venture and cover 493 miles, peaks of 13271 ft, and take about 4 weeks to complete.  No, I have not completed anything close to this and No, I have never hiked alone.  Nevertheless, I am set to face these obstacles in hopes to better prepare myself for my next chapter in life (college) but more importantly help inspire others to take risk, embrace nature, and pay it forward by encouraging others to do the same.  While hiking is a relatively inexpensive endeavor, hiking these terrains and climate conditions takes carefully planning and some special gear.  My goal is to raise $1017 to help purchase needed gear to keep me safe an get me to the final mile.  Any additional funds raised will be donated to the Colorado Trail Foundation to help maintain the trails so others can make this life changing journey. 

When I share my aspirations with others, half share in my excitement and the other half are worried or think I am crazy.  Whichever side of the fence you stand, I need your help raising the funds to make this possible.
