Hi , My name is Desiree Junier a Bay Area Concord, Ca Native Wife and Mother of two children. I created this Campaign to help a dear friend of mine Luri Luna Martinez who is the Mother of Thiago Josué Guerrero. I'm here reaching out to share his story and making it possible out here in the U.S. where you can help him and his family financially and hopefully with everyones helping hearts we can help improve Thiago's quality of life towards his medical operations and exams he has to keep up with. God works in many mysterious ways and I know I was meant to help Thiago on his journey and to be apart of his support system! I'm having faith that there's still many good hearted people out in this world and by coming together we can all graciously say we helped Thiago.

I am a special case among millions of babies, so I want to share my great story.
My name is Thiago Josué Guerrero Luna I am a twin of the same placenta, my brother is named Leandro Jose Guerrero Luna we were born a beautiful afternoon at 3:21 pm and 3:22 pm on October 14, 2015 at the Hospital Universitario de los Andes Mérida -Venezuela, my mother's pregnancy was always high risk because from the fourth month of gestation through ultrasound the doctor began to notice my health complications and that my brother was totally healthy, even though we shared the same placenta still There was no explanation why I came sick and my brother did not.
We were born premature at 7 months of gestation we were very small and therefore we entered the neonatal intensive care room.
My brother Leandro was discharged in a couple of days, while for my part the medical diagnosis was serious I was born with a communicable triventricular hydrocephalus that made me fill the head with encephalorrhequid fluid and also grow in size, as well as malformations that come From my brain and are denoted on my face I have hypoplasia of the corpus callosum (ACC) microphthalmia in my eyes and cataracts in the right eye besides cleft lip and palate nose.
I spend three months in neonatal intensive care where I lived my first operation and successfully surpassed, I was placed a valve to control hydrocephalus and I was able to go home with my family and my twin brother who was alone with my parents while I was in the hospital.
Two months passed after the valve was placed and I started to get sick. My head started to grow again. I had vomiting, fevers and seizures. I went back to the hospital and my valve was infected which caused me ventriculitis (neurological infection) Time came very difficult tests for me and for my family I was hospitalized for 7 months in the HULA and I lived 4 complicated neurological operations but that surpasses with much Courage.
I still can not sit alone or walk, I eat only liquid food because I drowned when I try to eat solid foods due to poor palate formation, I can not breathe through my nose because the internal and external malformation is complete and my vision is Low percentage will need to use eye expanders to be able to open the eyes with normality.
I must do child development therapies to learn to talk and walk, I already had the first facial surgery but I still lack reconstructive operations, as well as constant neurological assessments and reviews of the peritoneal (valve) ventricle bypass system that works inside my body.
For these reasons I mainly need your prayers asking God for my health and progress, I need financial help so that my parents can pay for my operations as they are extremely expensive as well as medical procedures and routine exams that I need to keep up to date.
I am a strong and smiling child in spite of everything I have been through. I always keep a smile on my face. My parents, siblings, relatives and closest friends want to see me with a better quality of life, so I ask for your support and generosity towards I will be very grateful.
