<div>So… my beloved bike was stolen. Right off the streets of Berlin, locked, loved, and part of my daily survival plan. It was my freedom machine, my therapy, my gym, and my most loyal relationship.

<div>Now I’m out here walking everywhere like it’s the 1800s. My coffee’s getting cold before I even get to work. My friends have started referring to me as that pedestrian. It’s dark times.

<div>I’m hoping to raise enough to buy a decent secondhand bike (and a lock so strong it could guard fort knox). Anything helps:) a few euros, a share, or just moral support for my traumatized calves.

<div>If this campaign reaches its goal, I promise to name my new bike something appropriately dramatic. Suggestions welcome.
