Dear Family and Friends,
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer for the first time in 2004. I had a lumpectomy done, followed by Chemo and Radiation. The Cancer returned in 2007. I had to have a Mastectomy, and do Radiation Treatments again. The Radiation was very painful and I was severely burned by it. In 2009 I was diagnosed again, the Cancer had come back and now was in my Chest Bone and above my shoulder bone. I had surgery on my chest, but was told they couldn't get it all. The cancer is still there. I have Herceptin every 3 weeks. I was diagnosed again in 2012, and was told the cancer is now in my upper left arm, above my shoulder bone, in my chest bone, and in my lung. I had a DNA test done, to determine what type of medicine will help me. The medicine was successful for a while and was able to maintain the area. I recently was diagnosed once again in 2013. They said the medicine stopped working and new growths have appeared. I need to raise the money to go the the Cancer Research Institute, because it is not covered by my insurance. There I will determine what the next best option is.
