Theta Love for the Keller Family

We are reaching out to our Theta sisters in support of Gena Nivens Keller and her family.  We recognize that many of you have already generously donated to various fundraising efforts for medical expenses to assist the Keller family while their sweet daughter Mary Katherine is undergoing treatment for DIPG.  Our prayers will continue to be with the Keller Family and their team of physicians and healthcare providers as they progress through the clinical trial phase of her treatment.  

With time together as a family being so precious, we are hoping to implement a few ideas to reduce the day to day time spent on the mundane, but needed tasks of laundry and maintaining the household for 4 very busy children.  We hope to raise funds from our Theta sisters specifically to assist with housekeeping 2 days per week.  We would love to give Gena and Harrison more quality time with their family while continuing to pursue  medical treatment for Mary Katherine.

Please know that Gena and Harrison are very humble and grateful for all of the support they have received to date, equally through prayer, notes of encouragement, meals, carpooling, and fundraising for medical expenses.  Having said that, a few of us have spent time with them recently, and while they have not been seeking additional household support, we feel this different type of assistance could enable more precious time for them as a family.   Our goal is to line up help for at least through the summer, and we expect the funding requirement would be $300-400/week. 

We recognize that medical support and prayers for the Keller family are the highest priority, and as such, are just circulating this request amongst our Theta sisters as another option to help the Keller Family through this current chapter in their lives.   Warmest wishes to you all!
