SENIOR DOGS & FRIENDS

Welcome, animal lovers!  We run a Cage Free Sanctuary for Senior Dogs! They have their own house called "The Senior Scenter" that we built in 2014.  Originally we intended to take in senior dogs at the end of life. Dogs that have been dumped into shelters to die alone or their loving owners have passed on or been placed into nursing homes. My husband and I have a hard time saying NO and we have taken in some that have lots of life left in them! Many just need veterinary care and good food to be back up and running! Right now we have a very special girl named Molly. She was brought to us as a senior with cataracts. Turns out her cataracts are the juvenile type and Molly is probably only 4-5 yrs old! On April 4th Molly underwent surgery to restore her eyesight. SUCCESS!!! Now we have to figure out how to get it paid in full and money back into our account to care for the other 30+ dogs that live here. Molly's surgery so far is approx $3200.  She is on 9 different eye drop medications up to 6 times per day.  We run strictly on donations from Animal Lovers like you! If you could help us we would be more than appreciative! My husband and I do not take a paycheck. We have given up most of an form of normal life to do this. That's fine with us but we can't care for all of them AND try and fund the house also. Our organization is Puppies Under Protection, Inc.
