The Scott Herman Fund

Donation protected
On Saturday, July 8th, the world lost one of the greatest men that I have ever known. Scott Herman was one of the most giving, genuine & sincere people to have ever walked this Earth, and last night, he passed unexpectedly at the age of 55.

To say that this man has touched a great number of lives would be a complete understatement. He’s a widely known figure throughout all of the Dayton, Ohio area, and for very good reason. Throughout the week, you might find Scott working hard at his insurance job to provide for his family. During the evenings, it’d be easiest to find Scott coaching kids in softball, baseball, basketball or soccer. On the weekends, you'd find him at the local ball park, coaching the games of one of several teams that he’d support throughout each year.

Coaching & family, those were his passions. Scott was the ultimate family man, regularly providing support to his less fortunate nieces, nephews, cousins or siblings. He’d regularly host the annual Thanksgiving dinner & Christmas Eve parties, inviting over dozens of people for each holiday. He’d reach out to those in need, offer unconditional support, and embrace you when you needed it most.

Right now, Scott needs us to help his family. His unexpected passing has left his family with sudden funeral costs. I know personally how big the community around Scott is. I’ve seen first-hand how good of a person he is. This unfortunate circumstance couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy, which is why I’m writing this now.

I’m Scott’s nephew, one of many. My Uncle Scott has left behind three children, four grandchildren, and a hardworking, equally caring wife. He deserves the world after giving the world so much. This page is meant as an opportunity for the community around Scott Herman to come together to help ease the financial burdens of the Herman family.

Thank you all, in advance, for anything that you can do.
