Support Michelle Sampson's Family

Sometimes things happen in our lives that are unexplainable, unfathomable and indescribable. We found ourselves in this exact scenario with the Sampson family last Monday evening. Darrell Sampson, father to one of our dancers, Kennedy, came to in our dance studio to wait on his wife, Michelle, to arrive. Michelle was on her way to our dance studio after leaving work. As the night unfolded, and more time passed, it became obvious that something terrible had happened as Michelle never made it to the dance studio that evening. Darrell was aware of a car accident that taken place on her typical route on I-65. The next morning, officials confirmed that one of the cars in the accident  was that of his loving wife, Michelle.

We only had the privilege of knowing the Sampson family for a few months as they entered our lives by surprise this past summer. We now know that our paths were meant to cross, as we quickly became family to our new student who relocated to Williamson County from Canada.  Our values aligned, and we were so happy to have them as an extension of our dance family.

Michelle did all the great things a mother does to ensure that her children are loved and supported their activities they enjoyed in Canada.  Michelle’s background of competitive figure skating aiding in her support of her children’s love for similar sports, for her daughter, Kennedy, it that sport is dance and for her son, Carter, it is hockey. Kennedy was a member of Music City All Stars, where she was on the Mini Competition Dance Team.  Carter was a practice squad player on the U13 AAA Junior Predators Team.

Michelle was kind, incredibly genuine and the best mother and wife one could ever hope for. She deserves to be remembered and honored for the extraordinary person she was. She credited her children for giving her motivation, she was quoted saying “I want them to live happy, healthy lives and thought the best way for them to learn was to follow my example” ( say where this  came from) In the unfortunate absence of her role in their lives, we would like to help continue her wishes for her children to grow up the way she would have wanted.

We would like to help the Sampson family by raising money for Kennedy and Carter to continue enjoying the activities that bring them both so much love. For those that truly know and understand being part of a team, working towards goals together and accomplishing them is therapeutic.  Our intent is to help both Kennedy and Carter live their lives as their mom would want them to, belonging to teams and surrounded by people who share the same passion. In addition, the family had planned on attending our National Dance Team Competition held in January at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. We would love to use the funds to give them a trip to see their extended dance family in the happiest place on earth.

Let’s help the Sampson family honor their wonderful mother, Michelle, by helping her children live happy, healthy lives, just as she would want them to. We appreciate anything you can donate toward this loving & deserving family. Thank you for your willingness to help, love and support the Sampson family.
