I would like to introduce you to the Rodriguez family. They are a very dear family friend to both myself and my mom Kathy Walker. Jasmine has four beautiful children that are the lights of her life. As I write this, my heart is very heavy as this family has fallen on very hard times. I want to do anything to help ease their minds financially, spirtually, and mentally. That way all of their focus is on healing and getting better.
On January 13, 2017 Jasmine (the mother) was told the devastating news that she had been diagnosed with Colon Rectal cancer stage 3. After the soul crushing diagnosis of cancer, they immeditaely leaped into action - setting up doctors appointments, one after the other. She is currently still fighting her fight and undergoing treatment.
Then on February 1st, 2018 tradgedy hit this family again. At 2 years old Victoria (Jasmine's Daughter) was diagnosed with Pre-B leukemia ALL, a form of blood cancer common in children and young adults. She has immediately began the grueling 30 months of treatment at Childrens Hospital in Dallas.
Coping with a cancer diagnosis isn't easy. There is so much to juggle as you learn about the disease, discuss treatment options, and create a plan with your physicians and support network. That is why I plead with you to please help this family. They are the most generous, selfless, honorabe, kind hearted, and lovable family that would do anything for anyone without hesitation or expectation of anything in return. Every penny will go towards their treatment. We have all fallen on hard times, so I understand that sometimes a donation is not an opition. I just ask that your prayers stay constant and keep the faith that this family will be healed.
