It has been my dream to launch a website that gives a voice to voiceless people in Sindh province, Pakistan, even though I do not have a penny in my pocket. We need your little gift, can help us to build The Rise News.
If everyone can help me, I can make this dream a reality: The Rise News. The first female journalist who launches digital news outlet in Sindhi and English in Sindh province, Pakistan.
The Rise News is not going to get any advertisement from the government, we believe in an independent editorial policy and fair journalism - we look for our readers' support, your support can help us to introduce independent voices through good journalism.
The Rise News will inform citizens in the Sindh Province, with fact-based, objective news and thoughtful commentary that will empower them to understand important issues, impact policy and strengthen our democracy.
We will give a voice to the voiceless and be responsible advocates of human rights.
Topics of coverage will include News, Features, Editorials, Human Rights, Conversations, Cartoons, Photo of the Day and Readers Blog.
The Rise News will report in English and Sindhi languages to communicate to a large audience.
Your donation will help me start the baby steps of running the site, writing articles, hiring freelance writers and editors, and to begin receiving more donations from readers.
