Hello,
This is our moms family asking for a little help.
Our mom is the most hard working woman we know. She is a nurse and spends her time taking care of others. She never asks for help with anything. Unfortunately, she's in a situation that will require help. In the days leading up to Christmas, she started having severe pain in her left foot. It kept swelling and turning red and purple. She went to the emergency room where they were struggling to find her heartbeat in her foot. Which means she has no blood going to her foot.
The day after Christmas, she was admitted to the ICU at our small local hospital. We are waiting for a transfer to another larger hospital. She continues to be in severe pain and could possibly lose her foot. We do know she has a vascular blockage in her femoral artery. But we are not sure what else is wrong or what the prognosis is yet. Everything is so uncertain at this time. What we do know for sure is she is going to be out of work for quite some time (if not permanently) and our parents rely solely on her income because our dad is disabled. We ask that anyone who is able to help, please donate. No amount is too small. It would be appreciated more than we can express.
