<div>My brother <strong>Maisara</strong> <strong>Shaqoura</strong> is in the

<div>prime of his life. He was born in 2003. He's stuck in one of the tent locations in the south of Gaza.

<div> He was displaced there after the horrific events that he and the entirety of the people living in Gaza underwent. They have been denied the basic necessities of life. Everyone has a right to safe living and humane conditions no matter what race, ethnicity, or religion they belong to.

<div><strong>Maisara </strong>was unfortunate to be born with a problem in his heart. He has a whole in his heart that's 8 mm wide. He underwent open heart surgery previously and escaped death by the skin of his teeth. For him to remain alive he has to take his scheduled medications on time. Due to the lack of availability of the medicine or anything else from hospitals to equipment, he has started deteriorating. Given the fact that money is also scarce, it has become extremely difficult for him to stay alive. The cost of moving him out of there is weighing heavily on my shoulders. My name is Mahmoud Shaqoura and I'm his eldest brother. I live in Belgium. I can no longer afford to keep up with his care in these dire circumstances. I can't let him face all that's going on. I can't let him struggle with displacement, the inhumane living conditions, the lack of medical care, the scarcity of food and water, his medication not being avaliable, the cold, and that's to name a few. Skipping over the most obvious which is eminent death. All that combined with the emotional and psychological toll it's taking on him is truly destroying me.

<div><strong>Maisara </strong>lived with our that has passed away shortly before the events of the 7th of October. She was a cancer patient with very advanced cancer in her skull. She was also paralysed because of the disease. Maysara suffered so much even before this genocide, so take into consideration how compounded his pain must have gotten with everything that's going on now. The house my brother used to live in with our mum, our house in the North of Gaza, was bombed. We lost so many family members, ones that used to help Maysara. He is now alone facing all of this trying to stay alive. We can't completely fathom how people in Gaza are still standing. Now Imagine my little brother all on his own trying to survive, not knowing even when this all would end.

<div><strong>Maisara </strong>was in nursing school. He was in that major cause his dream was to help himself, his mum, and his entire homeland.

<div>Maysara is getting worse by the minute. We have to act fast to save his life. His condition is worsening and he's asking for our help.

<div>The money required for him to leave Gaza and go into Egypt is very high. That with the cost of him travelling for treatment in a specialised hospital is 30,000 euros.<strong> </strong>

<div>Coincé dans les camps du sud de Gaza. Quelques mois après les événements douloureux auxquels lui et tous les habitants de Gaza ont été soumis, il a été privé de tout droit à une vie digne et à la vie, qui appartient à tout le monde, quel qu'il soit.

<div><strong>Maisara </strong>est né avec une maladie cardiaque avec un trou de huit millimètres dans le cœur. Il a déjà subi une opération à cœur ouvert et a survécu, et doit toujours et à jamais respecter les doses de médicaments correspondant à son état, qui s'aggrave en ce moment en raison de la situation générale dans les camps du sud, qui ne correspond pas à son état de santé particulier, et en plus de cela, la sécurisation des médicaments. En outre, les coûts de son séjour dans les camps et les difficultés subséquentes pour assurer les éléments de base de sa survie ou pour le faire sortir de la région grâce à un soutien financier sont une charge pour moi, son frère aîné résidant en Belgique, et je m'appelle Mahmoud Shaqura, et je ne peux pas couvrir tout cela, et ce n'est pas aux personnes concernées de le laisser souffrir de la guerre psychologique et de la douleur physique qu'il a toujours subies. La douleur physique qui l'a toujours accompagné et exacerbé par le manque de soins et avant tout après la mort de notre mère quelques jours avant le 7 octobre, avec laquelle Maysara a vécu seul pendant une bonne période, car elle était atteinte d'un cancer de l'os du crâne et souffrait d'une paralysie qui l'empêchait de se déplacer correctement, Maysara a donc souffert avant et après la guerre et continue de souffrir et de payer des frais moraux pour ce qui s'est passé et ce qui se passe dans sa vie en général et privée. Après que la maison où il vivait avec sa mère dans le nord de Gaza a été bombardée et que nombre de ses proches qui l'aidaient au milieu des événements ont été martyrisés, il s'est retrouvé complètement seul, essayant de survivre dans des circonstances dont nous ne savons pas comment chacun d'entre nous peut supporter le poids et l'impact, après que Maysara ait été étudiant à la faculté d'infirmiers, dessinant des rêves et étudiant de manière indépendante.

<div>L'état de santé de Maysara s'aggrave et il faut agir au plus vite pour sauver la vie d'un être humain dont l'état de santé est critique et qui demande de l'aide et de l'assistance.

<div>Le coût de la sortie de la bande de Gaza vers l'Égypte est très élevé, à commencer par le paiement des honoraires et des frais de voyage pour un traitement dans un hôpital cardiaque spécialisé et les coûts d'un séjour médical estimés à 22,000 euros,
