Help Train Moon Shadow Therapy Dog

As a counsellor and art therapist my focus on people’s recovery from difficult to manage life experiences. We may struggle with relationship complications, behaviours that are not working for us and other quality of life negating presentations. Engaging with someone who will listen without judgement helps immensely. Some times if we have been hurt or disappointed by the people who society normally expect to trust (e.g. family, friends, teachers, authority figures) it can be difficult to share our storiesand gain recovery.


I have adopted Moon Shadow who is training with me to work in my practice, Art of Life Counselling . The therapeutic benefits of working with a therapy dog will be offered to my clients at no extra financial cost. I will also be offering Moon Shadows company to people who wish to introduce children to dogs in a safe way, people who are unable to have their own pets and socialization opportunities for those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to do so.
With your help, people who are struggling with the effects of trauma, grief and loss, addiction recovery and other mental health issues may be comforted with stress alleviation though their relationship with a Moon Shadow, while facing issues that might otherwise seem unbearable for them to contemplate. If you have ever been in a strong relationship with an animal, you will understand the closeness and trust that can developed between human and animal.If you could help me reach my goal I would be most thankful.
Lead the Way  Training Institute have an impeccable reputation in multidisciplinary Animal-Assisted Interventions.  The initial training, Foundation AAI and Therapy-Dog Certification’ is $2000 which is then followed by the  Advanced Therapy-Dog Interventions at $1000.
