Therapy Glasses for Holly’s Healing

Hey everyone! This is Tiffany, Holly's sister. I am doing this Gofundme to help my sister Holly get the therapy glasses you see in this picture. As most of you know she suffered an Ischemic stroke in October 2017. While she is beyond thankful for the continued use of her arms and legs, the damage that has been done leaves her with extreme muscle tightness in her neck, arm, and her leg on occasion, feelings of thousands of pounds of pressure pushing on the back of her neck and head, feelings of tight rubber bands around her head/arm and basically that her left side feels like it weighs 10,000 pounds. All of these symptoms combined make for a lot of sad and painful days. In June, she was blessed to have found a new Physical Therapist Michal Niedzielski - PT, PRC.
He, upon her first visit, started working with her with the glasses. They are called SIX DEVICES. Sensory Intagration Experience. They were amazing and helped improve her conditions immediately. As soon as he put them on her, her muscles relaxed. He let her borrow his for 2 weeks. And she said it was the best she felt since having the stroke. Everyday activities like house chores, walking, carrying items and even just sitting in a chair- were so much less painful and easier to do! These glasses have proven to be a Godsend and she will need her own in order to continue this healing journey. They are unique and specially made glasses (they are not prism glasses). I know how much they are helping my sister with her daily suffering- it’s amazing how much they work! Insurance does not cover them. In fact they have to be specially ordered from their inventor Marco Grassi OD in Italy. My sister is not in the position herself to be able to afford them. Thankfully she was approved for disability, but that covers just the monthly basic needs with bills. Myself and our whole family would greatly appreciate it with all our hearts any donation you might feel led to give. And if you are unable to, we would so appreciate your prayers that they will be provided for. Knowing my sister asking for help isn't her thing but I know how much she suffers everyday and I really wanted to help her because I’ve seen the Incredible difference these glasses and the wonderful physical therapist has made in her life! I know in her own way, through prayers or any means possible- she will most certainly pay it forward!
