Theraputic Driving Cart Program

Here at Majoda Stables in Moorestown, NJ, we host a variety of equine educational and hands on programs. Most notable is our Therapeutic Riding Program.

Our mission is to foster connection and well-being for people of all abilities through creative horsemanship in an environment of acceptance, love, and trust. Our vision; a dynamic change to communities and families through the transformation of the individual.

Majoda is very excited about one of our dreams coming to light.
We would like to introduce a Therapeutic Driving Program. Our fundraising goal of $8,000would cover the cost of a wheelchair accessible cart as well as training for instructors. Carrie Christiansen, a Majoda instructor of 15 years, will be heading up this venture as well as training our future drive team.

Meet Harry! He will be the main driving pony in our program.


Harry, our 16-year-old Fell pony, travelled from England to New Jersey with his siblings, Reiver and Pearl to make their home at Majoda. He stands a sturdy 13 hands tall, with a strong build and salt-of-the-earth attitude. Three years ago, our Harry had the opportunity to learn some fundamental driving skills. He did so happily and is now waiting for a cart to drive our program into the future.
