<div>ME/CFS ist eine schwere

<div>neuroimmunologische Multisystemerkrankung. Es gibt noch keine zugelassenen Medikamente, aber verschiedene sehr kostspielige Therapien können manchmal etwas helfen. Für diverse Infusionen habe ich einen Picclinekatheter bekommen. 1x pro Woche fahre ich mit meiner Mama zur Behandlung (3h-4,5h). Ich habe massiv hohe Autoantikörper entwickelt. Diese greifen u.a. meine Muskeln an, so dass ich nicht mehr gut stehen und kaum noch laufen kann.

<div><strong>Mein Krankheitsverlauf</strong>



</div>



<div>Vor meiner Erkrankung war ich ein lebenslustiges und sportliches Mädchen, die draussen viel Zeit verbrachte. Nach einer Coronainfektion bin ich immer kränker geworden, bis ich mich gar nicht mehr erholte. Seit April 2023 kann ich nicht mehr zur Schule gehen und seit Monaten nur 2-3x pro Monat das Haus kurz verlassen. Ich habe kaum noch Kraft für meine kreativen Hobbies. Für Arzttermine benötige ich mittlerweile den SRK-Fahrdienst, weil ich auch kein ÖV mehr fahren kann. Die Spitex kommt nun auch zu mir, um mich zu versorgen.

<div><strong>Immunadsorption</strong>

<div>Mit meiner Mama war ich bei einer Spezialistin für Blutwäschen. Bei mir kommt die Immunadsorption (eine spezielle Blutwäsche) in Frage.

<div>Die Immunadsorption filtert die Autoantikörper raus, so dass diese mich nicht noch mehr krank machen können. Die Ärztin sagte mir, dass ich sehr gut von dieser Behandlung profitieren könnte. Leider wird nichts von der Krankenkasse bezahlt, obwohl es manchen Kindern schon sehr gut geholfen hat.

<div><strong>Vor und nach der Behandlung</strong>



</div>



<div>Nach dieser Behandlung folgen diverse Infusionen, Ozontherapie und IHHT (einatmen unterschiedlicher Sauerstoffkonzentrationen). Das würde meine Regenerierung fördern. Momentan kann das mein Körper nur bedingt aufnehmen, obwohl ich es jede Woche auf mich nehme. Ich muss ausserdem täglich 20 Kapseln und Tabletten schlucken, die mir jetzt aber wohl nicht mehr so gut helfen. Mein Körper ist einfach zu krank und kann es nicht mehr aufnehmen.

<div><strong>Meine Mama kämpft für mich</strong>

<div>Meine Mama ist 100% alleinerziehend und bezahlt sämtliche medizinische Kosten zu 90% selbst, weil fast nichts von der Krankenkasse anerkannt wird. Momentan muss sie sogar für meinen Elektrorollstuhl kämpfen (Absage von der IV!!!), weil ich nicht mehr lang stehen und laufen kann. Aber auch da wird man von Versicherungen im Stich gelassen. Wer nicht selbst zahlen kann, verliert.

<div><strong>Was ich mir wünsche</strong>



</div>



<div>Ich möchte zur Schule gehen (oder rollen) können, meine Freunde treffen, Ausflüge machen, Sport machen oder einfach die Natur geniessen. Aber ich bin so krank, dass ich nur auf dem Sofa oder im Bett sitzen und liegen kann. Ich will die Hoffnung aber nicht aufgeben. Ich wünsche mir, dass es mir nach all den Behandlungen besser gehen kann. Ich möchte regelmässig lernen können und bin schon an einer Schule angemeldet, wo ich auch mit dem Rollstuhl hinkönnte. Aber dafür muss es mir noch viel besser gehen.

<div><b> What is ME/CFS?</b> 


</div>


<div> ME/CFS is a serious
neuroimmunological multisystem disease. There are no approved medications yet, but various very expensive therapies can sometimes help a little. I have been given a Piccline catheter for various infusions. I go to treatment with my mom once a week (3h-4.5h). I have developed massively high autoantibodies. These attack my muscles, among other things, so that I can no longer stand well and can hardly walk.

<div><b>My course of illness</b> 


</div>


<div>Before I became ill, I was a fun-loving and sporty girl who spent a lot of time outside. After a corona infection, I became increasingly ill until I was unable to recover at all. Since April 2023, I have not been able to go to school and for months I have only been able to leave the house briefly 2-3 times a month. I hardly have any energy left for my creative hobbies. I now need the SRK transport service for doctor's appointments because I can no longer use public transport. The nursing service now also comes to me to look after me.

<div><b>Immunoadsorption</b> 


</div>


<div>I went to a blood dialysis specialist with my mom. Immunoadsorption (a special type of blood dialysis) is an option for me.

Immunoadsorption filters out the autoantibodies so that they cannot make me even sicker. The doctor told me that I could benefit greatly from this treatment. Unfortunately, nothing is paid for by the health insurance company, although it has helped some children very well. 

I need 5 treatments. One treatment costs around 2500 CHF. <span>My mom absolutely cannot afford that.</span>

<div><span><b> Before and after the treatment </b></span>

<div><span>After this treatment, various infusions, ozone therapy and IHHT (inhaling different concentrations of oxygen) follow. That would promote my regeneration. At the moment, my body can only absorb it to a limited extent, even though I undergo it every week. I also have to take 20 capsules and tablets every day, but they don't seem to help me that much anymore. My body is simply too sick and can't absorb it anymore. </span>

<div><span>My mom is a 100% single parent and pays 90% of all medical costs herself because almost nothing is covered by the health insurance. At the moment she even has to fight for my electric wheelchair (rejected by the disability insurances) because I can no longer stand or walk for long. But even then the insurance companies let you down. If you can't pay yourself, you lose. </span>

<div><span>I want to be able to go to school (or roll), meet my friends, go on trips, do sports or just enjoy nature. But I'm so sick that I can only sit and lie on the sofa or in bed. But I don't want to give up hope. I hope that I can get better after all the treatments. I want to be able to study regularly and am already enrolled in a school where I could go in a wheelchair. But I have to feel much better for that. </span>
