RIP Jess. This is being started for the family to help pay the costs of anything that is needed from funeral to pup care to family needs.
My name is Alisha. I lived with the Jessie and her daughter for a while. They rescued me when I needed help. I was in a desperate situation and not only did they open their home to me but also their hearts. The family is deeply saddened and impacted by this tragic loss. I want to help them as they have helped me.
Jess Bingaman left her mark wherever she went. In the shape of a paw. She had such a big heart when it came to the animals she cared for. She had an even bigger heart for those who were in need or needed help. She would feed you if you were hungry. She would clothe you if you were cold. She would shelter you when you needed a roof.
She will always be remembered and she will always be missed and loved by not just her friends and family. But by her community, as well.
She leaves behind a daughter (the human kind) and a son (the furry 4 pawed kind). Her family needs to travel from the east coast and those that are here, need help planning and everything else that goes into the process. Please help if you can.
The funds raised will be dedicated to helping the family with travel from the east coast, and hopefully a college fund for her daughter as well as a pet rescue fund in Jessie's name.
As it stands currently, the bulk of the funds are going to be used to help the families with any services involved in honoring the memory of the pups that were lost. A large piece of the funds are going towards setting up a college fund for her daughter, whom she leaves behind. The remaining funds will be dispersed to the families of the pups that were lost as a result of this tragedy and the incurred medical expenses associated with puppy cremation and setting up a Animal Rescue Fund to help in Long Beach in her honor.
In case any of you are wondering which fundraiser is legitimate. This is the only fund which is directly helping the family and pups.
A public memorial will be held on Saturday 5/11/2019. As the details become available there will be updates made to this page. So, be sure to check back in.
On behalf of all the families affected, I want to thank everyone who came out to vigil that was held last night. It truly was humbling to see such a large community out pouring of love and support.
While I am in direct contact with Jessie's loved ones, I am sadly not in contact with many of the puppy families. So, if you have any information regarding how best to contact them to better plan the memorial on Saturday, any and all information would be greatly appreciated and helpful. While I know a few of the puppies names, I want to do them justice in honoring them accurately with pictures and getting as much correct information as possible. I can be reached via email:email@example.com
All your help is deeply appreciated. On behalf of the families...
