Who is Theo?
Theoneste (Theo) Ndagijimana is a social entrepreneur in Rwanda. Theo has overcome many obstacles in his life. By the age of 9, Theo had tragically lost both his mother and father and had to rely on the support of generous individuals. At a young age, Theo knew he wanted to help underprivileged children, just as he had been helped as a young child. Beyond any expectation, Theo worked his way to gain a Bachelor's degree while at Wingate University Business School in North Carolina, along with achieving additional qualifications through the Regent University and Acts of Gratitude.
What is Theo’s Coffee/Yamanna Ltd.?
In 2015, Theo started Yamanna Ltd., a coffee exporting company that distributes his coffee brand, “Theo’s Coffee”. The organization is a social enterprise based in Rwanda and is registered in North Carolina. Theo’s mission is to provide support in healthcare and education to underprivileged communities in Rwanda. Theo is inspired by the generosity that was provided to him as a child.
Theo’s Coffee utilizes $1 of every 1lb of coffee towards providing health and education for underprivileged communities in Rwanda.
The farmers who are assisting Theo in achieving his goal are part of a collective social enterprise that supports local women in Twongerekawa Coko. The women are entirely dependent on the operations of this organization to provide for their families.

The women are entirely dependent on the operations of this organization to provide for their families. As a small organization, Theo’s coffee has been hit disastrously by COVID-19. Theo’s coffee relies on support from international organizations to survive, however, due to this unexpected virus, previously reliable contacts have withdrawn their support. Theo’s coffee is now in a position where they are unable to pay for the incredible women who have farmed the coffee.
