therhacademy.org Respect & Honor Academy, Inc. was created to help fill a void within our communities. With lack of positive role models, poor education and lack of overall support we saw a problem that needed to be solved. Too often in our communities young athletes are blessed with amazing talent yet due to lack of guidance they often fall by the wayside once their playing days are done. It is no secret that the state of our youth in some of our communities is deplorable due to the lack of resources and government funding. As a result we decided to get active. Family and Friends this is a call to ACTION! We are asking that 500 members of our community make a small contribution of at least $10 to help us raise a total of $5,000 by February 1, 2019 for our program.
Respect & Honor Academy not only focuses on training young athletes on the field, we focus on developing them off the field as well! Some of our programs include but are not limited to: Manhood Training Seminars, Career Development/Passion Development, Resume Building Seminars, Interview Etiquette, Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Training! Through partnerships we provide SAT Prep courses for our student athletes. We also take our young men on college tours and educational trips as well. In a day and age where community resources and support are low, we understand the need for a change.
It is one thing to diagnose a problem but another thing to find a cure! We are calling on our community to GET ACTIVE, and take a stand for our youth! Your contribution will not only help fund our program, it will also help provide equipment and resources for our young men, along with help us achieve our ultimate goal which is to expand across the nation! It is imperative that we show our youth that we care about them and that their lives MATTER! Let us be the heroes that our youth and community so desperately need!
