The Presentation Monastery N.S. are running ‘THE MON-ster Fundraiser’ to help raise vital funds to complete an extension to our school comprising of two special needs classrooms, a multi-sensory room and a general purpose hall.
We want to complete this new multi-needs area to the highest standard possible.
We want to ensure that the students in our special classes get the best opportunities they deserve to enjoy and excel in school on a daily basis.

The Development:
Our school facilities were originally built in 1958. However, student enrolment has increased significantly since and an extension to the school was required to meet the needs of the current generation and generations to come.
Our special classes cater for both children with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and children with two and more diagnosed learning difficulties. Students with additional needs face many challenges and this new specialised development is designed to meet their needs and ease anxieties school-life can bring.
The general purpose hall will serve the whole school community for sports and gatherings with its increased capacity.
The Problem:
There is a shortfall in funding to complete the extension and we need to raise an additional €35,000 in order to complete the development.
