The Man Who Could Not Eat.

Can you imagine not being able to eat? Imagine a life where you are starving, and that painful craving for food never leaves you, but eating could literally kill you. 

Meet my dad, Todd. Ever since I was 14 years old, my brother and I have watched the man we look up to wither away, for the second time. A mechanic in the airline industry, my dad became infused with so many heavy metals, in his body, that it's off the scales. Because of the large amount of exposure to heavy metals and industry chemicals, a majority of his bodily systems are damaged, this creates an extremely complicated treatment protocol. Over time, his body not only began to reject food after food, but has taken a toll on his entire body and limited treatment. 

I remember when my dad almost died in my arms, 8 years ago, before he could be rushed to the hospital. This was after simply working on a small project and the result of an inability to process foods we take for granted. 

Since 2016, things have taken a turn for the worst. Existing primarily on raw milk and a handful of other items, his body has even rejected those. This 6 foot man who was once healthy and extremely active, is now reaching 135 lbs. Later in 2016, he was given a tube to bypass his stomach to allow some basic nutrients to get to his system. Currently he is on baby formula, tea, and other natural options in desperation to help as doctors have no other alternatives. However, this also comes at a cost, his body can only accept 1,200 calories a day of the baby formula without rejection.

Things are so bad he can't even be around the smells of food because it's intolerable, and unfortunately he also misses out on time with friends and family. The loss of time with friends and family has taken a toll on more than just dad, but on our family as well.

My wife and I moved to Arizona to be a help both for my dad and mom. We are trying to help all we can, but we need your help. Dad's medical bills and supplies are far beyond what we can help provide. He's had multiple emergency visits, feeding tubes, and more recently, because of the metals and lack of nutrition, his teeth are literally breaking off and all need to be taken out. Part of the cause of the teeth breakage, emergency visits, and subsequent treatments is because of malnutrition which aggravates his overall condition.

Healthcare is complicated on what get's covered and when. Between falls, medical emergencies and life sustaining treatments not covered by Medicare, my parents are left with such heavy bills, and the resources of the past have dried out.

Here's how we can help, provide the much needed funds for current medical debt; medical supplies/treatments that currently can not be afforded; and the installation of a special water filter, and home repair/improvements that will help keep him from getting worse. Because of all the damage done to his body, dad needs a special type of filtered water. A Kangen water filter will provide the type of water his body will accept, remove a huge expense and help create an evironment for healing in his body.

Our goal is $100,000 to help my parents get out of debt, provide the supplies and treatments and add a desperately needed water filter to their home.
