In honor of the holiday season for the month of November and December The M.A.M Project, LLC NPO will be conducting random acts of kindness to individuals throughout NYC. We will also be feeding the homeless throughout the 5 boroughs during November. People of all walks of life can agree on one thing, what is that you ask? Children are the future!
My name is Brittany Moffatt, I am 25 years old with a bachelors in English/ Creative Writing. I've always been big on giving back and supporting others in any way. I am very big on helping people! In the past, I have struggled with finding ways to give back in an effective way. My assistant Naisha Scharschmidt, is 25 years old with an associates degree in Business Marketing. We are both currently employed at Tribeca Pediatrics, where we work providing customer services for thousands of families everyday. Naisha and I casually sat down one day and brainstormed different ideas and objectives. I shared my passion with her in regards to children and giving back and she shared hers. In the end result, we agreed to put together an organization where we will be producing resources, free of charge, to children in our hometown and hopefully across the world one day!
The MAM Project is the name of our organization, which is an acronym for Multiplying Ambitous Minds. The organization, The MAM Project, is a project devoted to uplifting and supporting the children of different communities. We will be holding several different events throughout NYC, where we provide resources to the children and their families for educational and recreational use.
As an Introductory event, we will be having the first "Back to School Give-A-Way" festival. This event will provide book bags and school supplies for children grades K to 8th. We will also provide food, entertainment and activities for the children. We also plan to have a guest speaker and we will have different group discussions which will give the children a chance to communicate some of their dreams, concerns in exchange for positive advice and feedback.
The MAM Project is determined to bring quality leadership, inspiration and enthusiasm to the children of the future. We are geared to inspire the ambitious minds of children who may need the extra support system in whatever current or future aspirations they may have. Our teams mission is to engage with children in different communities and provide different means of support for a range of different age groups. We plan to provide resources to children that which will allow them to produce positive outcomes in the future.
My apiration in life is to give back and with the help of others I will be able to give even more.
