As for some of you may or may not know, my warrior mother has been battling stage four cancer for the last three and a half years. Everyday is a divine blessing for all, especially Mama Mary.
For those of you who know my mother she is a woman of strength. A woman who endlessly fights for her life and yet she does it with laughter,smiles and poise. She is the adhesive and a positive light shining on those who she comes in contact with, a pure earth angel.
She is an infusion of radiation and chemotherapy. The good news with the bad new wrapped and woven tightly behind it. Due to the consecutive hospital visits, we are all a bit worn. As a reflections of the interior chaos, we managed to allowed the exterior to fall short as well.
Bucket list, "I would love Nothing more than to have an oasis to escape to."
Seeing as though traveling has not become easy or even an option at this point. I would love nothing more than to bring that travel to her, by creating this beautiful oasis in our back yard. Her sanctuary to find inner peace, to build more memories, and to ease her thoughts. A safe haven.
Between all of the continuous hospital expenses ( well we can not pour from a semi empty cup.) This is all foreign to me reaching out and showing vulnerability, but hey anything is worth trying for someone whom you love deeply for.
Everyday that goes by she says to me " I am going to write to HGTV, maybe the universe will help me and they will pick me to create the back yard." So instead I'm reaching out to the universe and all of you.
I am more than thankful for your time on reading my message. My gratitude runs deeper than all seas.
This would be a dream come true.
