The Madden Fundraiser

Hello everyone,

Good friends and associates of ours in the oil and gas industry, Patrick and Danielle Garraway, recently have been going through some health problems.  Their 2 year old son Madden has a rare blood disorder which causes him to have a few blood issues with the main one being low platelets.  The initial diagnosis is called Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome.  With an out of pocket DNA Exome sequencing test to be done soon in the US, they are hopeful to have an answer before ultimately going to a bone marrow transplant.   In the mean time he will be starting a second drug to try and increase his platelet levels to a safe number until an outcome is determined.  After the initial three month drug trial period there is a good chance these drug expenses will be coming out of pocket and funds received will be used for this.
