C.L.S: The Love Mission, 2014

The temperatures are dropping in the capital of the world, as winter quickly approaches.   While over 50,000 homeless seek refuge in cramped, and often dangerous, city shelters, hundreds of others desperately brave the bitter elements.  

Together, we can do something about this ...  The Love Mission, an outreach ministry of City Love Society, will mobilize to help at least 50 homeless men and women in New York City, this fall and winter.  

Our mission is to supply them with backpacks filled with vital supplies, a monetary love gift and a sleeping bag, which can withstand the frigid temperatures.  We also seek to forge genuine, lasting relationships with those we encounter in our distribution campaign.

We need:

Backpacks  (30.00 each)  - The backpacks will be supplied with a hat, scarf, gloves, socks, toothbrush, toothpaste, snacks, water and S10.00 in cash/or a gift card.  Contact information for shelters and other vital services will also be provided.

Sleeping bags (35.00 each) -  A Coleman sleeping bag that can warm down to 20 degrees Farenheit will also be gifted to each person.

Love Gift   (10.00) -    A monetary gift or gift card will be given to our needy and homeless friends.

Any additional monies above our funding goal will go to sponsoring others with backpacks, sleeping backs, and towards our general non-profit fund.
