Using my communication skills and resources given to me from school, I created my website to be a platform to share my story, encourage, and make friends, especially with other girls who face similar situations. Then, I created the Girls/Women Lifestyle Survey and posted it. It took off like I never would have thought! I've had opportunities to present my results, have discussions, and meet people I would have never looked for!

As a result, I've taken my research a step further and collaborated with Women In AV (WAVE) to do a study about the demographics of the women and girls in AV.  I've pushed limits, took on learning curves, and put numerous hours into providing the industry with information that could help put more girls on the AV grid.

Being resourceful and innovative with no funding, I managed to do these two studies with everything I already had. Unfortunately, most of my resources will be expiring, and I would like to continue learning, cultivate my skills, and helping others with education, encouragement, and friendship!

Some resources and tools I would like to invest in again would be programs like Qualtrics, Microsoft Office, and some recording equipment to make better quality videos.

Anything helps, and I am very grateful to share what I've been blessed with!

Thank you very much! :)
