OUR PURPOSE
The Healing Harvest, Inc is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that educates and encourages youth and strives to eliminate their adversities. Our mission is to advocate growth and development through programs created to promote productive citizenship.
OUR PROGRAMThe Healing Harvest, Inc. Presents "Facing My Giants" Teen Peer Group. Facing My Giants is a program for teens ages 12-19. This program will acknowledge the fears of life and issues that teens face every day, with the endurance to help them succeed in the future. The program will provide life based exercises, training and coaching on how to handle their current life obstacles and how to overcome them with expectations of reaching their highest potential in their future. Utilizing the lessons and tools taught in this program, teens will develop into great individuals and grow into productive citizens.
"When working with high and moderate risk adolescents, implementing these age-appropriate, developmental strategies is an important ingredient to properly meeting adolescent needs (Quigley, 2004)".

OUR CAMPAIGN GOAL
We are seeking to raise $7,500.00 at the beginning of this campaign, which will provide: supplies, snacks and transportation to 50 or more of Metro Atlanta's and Metro Detroit's Middle and High school teens. The funds raised will also help the teens with their community service learning projects, college tours, and field trips. With an outpouring of support, your generosity will help empower a young person to grow up with a strong sense of purpose and belief in a better future.
Stretched Goals: As we grow beyond our target, we will have the ability to educate, encourage and elevate life skills to more teens and more locations.
