We are biking to all 48 of the continental United States to raise money to provide education for children in Honduras. The orphanage that we are working with currently provides elementary education for orphans aged 5-12. We would like to build a secondary school AND a college to continue their education.
Build the Secondary School
To do this, we need $100,000. This will not only fulfill all the costs for construction but will also be used to provide the necessary supplies for running the school. Also, Tom Stamman, the man who built the orphanage, has generously agreed to match our funds one to one! So by raising $50,000, we will be able to build one school and use the matched funds to build the other.
By helping to build this institution, you will essentially be providing a means for the children who live in the City of Refuge, as well as the children in the community to learn skills that will help them be self-sufficient. You will be changing children's lives for the better.
